Temporary Splinting
Stabilise loose or injured teeth by bonding them to their stronger neighbours — giving them time to heal and helping you chew comfortably.
What is Temporary Splinting?
Dental splinting joins loose or injured teeth to the healthy teeth beside them, using a thin wire or fibre strip bonded with tooth-coloured composite. The splint holds the teeth steady while the supporting gums and bone heal.
Splinting is commonly used after an accident or injury, or for teeth loosened by gum disease. At Maa Dental Care, the splint is bonded to the tooth surface without drilling, and it is reviewed and removed once the teeth have stabilised.
